The art of the given flower
A Parisian sensibility, composed in Dubai — one stem at a time.
We do not sell flowers. We compose moments — to be carried, to be received, to be remembered long after the blooms have gone.
The Black & Blanc Floral House
A house built on restraint
Black & Blanc began with a single conviction — that a flower, given well, can hold more than words are able to. We started with a small studio, a cool northern light, and a refusal to compromise on a single stem.
We were never interested in volume, nor in the loud abundance that fills a room and says nothing. We wanted the opposite: arrangements quiet enough to be heard.
The Parisian register
Our aesthetic is drawn from the great couture houses — a cool, considered palette of ivory, bone, and the palest green. Nothing golden. Nothing that asks for attention before it has earned it.
We compose in the language of editorial photography: hard, directional light from a high window, honest texture, and the confidence to leave space deliberately empty.
Made by people, for a person
No two arrangements leave our atelier the same, because no two are made for the same person. Each is built by hand, turned and reconsidered from every side, the way a sculptor works around a form.
It is slower. It is the only way we know that holds.
To give flowers is to say: I noticed. I remembered. I thought of you before you asked.
Every arrangement passes through four hands
From the market before dawn to the moment it is placed in yours — a sequence we have never shortened.
Selection
Each stem is chosen by hand before the city wakes. Only blooms at their perfect moment are kept; the rest are left behind.
Conditioning
Flowers rest and drink for a full day, so they open in your home — not in our studio. Patience is the first ingredient.
Composition
Built one stem at a time, turned and weighed from every angle, until the empty space is as considered as the bloom.
Presentation
Wrapped in our signature box, sealed by hand, and carried to its recipient with the care of a personal courier.
Drag to move through the sequence
The hour our florists arrive at the market, before the first stem is sold.
The time every flower conditions before it is ever composed.
Each arrangement composed for a single recipient — never pre-made, never repeated.
What the house is working with now
Send something that speaks for you
With care, The Black & Blanc Atelier
