Vanilla Rose Cake is freshly made and should be refrigerated immediately on arrival if not eaten on the day.
Consume within 24 to 48 hours for the best flavour and texture. Cream-based cakes deteriorate faster than sponge-only varieties.
Keep refrigerated and away from strong-smelling foods in the fridge — cakes absorb surrounding aromas quickly.
Before serving, allow the cake to sit at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. Cold cake masks flavour; room-temperature cake tastes as it was intended.
Do not refreeze. Once thawed or at room temperature, consume within the remaining freshness window.
