Royal Ruby Peonies last 4 to 6 days in floral foam. If they arrive as firm buds, they will open over the first two to three days.

The ruby-red tone is vivid on opening day and remains saturated for three to four days in a cool, low-light position.

Add water to the foam every two days. Peonies become thirstier as they open fully — check the foam more frequently from day three onward.

Do not trim or move the stems in the foam. Disturbance creates air pockets that block uptake without improving it.

Pick off petals as they drop — they fall cleanly from ruby peonies. The inner bud structure continues to open after outer petals are removed.
