Shaded, cool placement — away from sun, heat, and cold air — is the most effective way to extend freshness. Water the foam every two to three days; do not flood it — a gentle pour at the edges is enough. All stems are set at depth in the foam; no trimming or repositioning is needed. Remove individual faded roses as they appear rather than waiting for the whole arrangement to decline. Ripening fruit emits ethylene gas that speeds petal drop — keep the arrangement well away from any produce.
