Bonsai Tree Plant is a living plant that requires ongoing care. With proper attention, a bonsai lives for many years and develops character over time.

Water when the top layer of soil feels dry to the touch — do not allow the soil to dry out completely or to become waterlogged. Frequency depends on the season and room temperature.

Place in bright indirect light. Most indoor bonsai species require several hours of bright, filtered light daily. Avoid deep shade and harsh midday sun.

Humidity is important — place the pot on a shallow tray of water and pebbles to increase local humidity, particularly in air-conditioned rooms.

Do not use regular plant fertiliser. Use a bonsai-specific fertiliser in small amounts during the growing season (spring to autumn). Do not fertilise in winter.
