Roses in floral foam last 5 to 7 days when kept cool and consistently moistened. Hot or dry conditions will shorten this significantly.

Position Amethyst in Box away from direct sun, vents, and radiators — the ideal spot is a cool interior surface, away from windows.

Add a small amount of cool water to the foam every two days. Check first: if the foam surface feels wet, wait one more day.

There is no need to trim the stems — they are embedded in foam, and cutting would disturb the arrangement without improving water uptake.

Pick out any petals or stems that have browned — this keeps the arrangement sharp and slows the spread of ethylene between blooms.
