Villefrance Birthday in Half Meter Box brings together fresh flowers, a freshly made cake and helium balloons. Each needs different conditions.
Flowers: trim each stem at an angle, change the water every day and keep them out of direct sun and away from heat. Re-cut the stems every few days and remove any spent blooms.
Cake: refrigerate promptly and consume within 24 to 48 hours.
Balloons: helium balloons stay afloat for 12 to 24 hours in an air-conditioned room. Keep them away from heat and sharp objects.
Do not store the flowers in the same space as the cake. The flowers need cool, dry air; the cake needs refrigeration.
Fresh, green and quietly sophisticated, after the Riviera village of Villefranche. Our half-metre box is the grandest piece in the collection, filled end to end with 40 to 44 stems and hand-arranged on the day of delivery. Bells of Ireland and green anthurium rise over green hydrangea, velvety green dianthus and green hypericum berries, with white lisianthus, premium hydrangea and star-shaped oxypetalum for light.
A half-kilo celebration cake, finished in matching fresh green, sits at the centre of the flowers, with a cluster of helium balloons hand-painted in the same fresh green rising behind. Made to be the first thing anyone sees when they walk into the room.
