How many roses, what does it mean?
As if choosing a specific rose color wasn’t enough to express your innermost thoughts, you can convey your message the meaning of numbers in flowers is different, through the number of stems or the type of rose you select. For example, a bouquet of roses (representing innocent love) says “you’re forever young and beautiful,” while a thornless rose says “love at first sight,” and the tea rose says ‘I’ll remember you always.”
As old superstitions fade and Emily Post-like etiquette evolve, you’re probably not counting the number of roses or orchids or hydrangeas you receive from your special someone. But the number of roses a love interest gave you once held hidden meanings. A flower’s meaning is no longer specific to its color and type alone, but also, to the number of flowers you choose.
